Aborted run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 (Maipo)

I've got openSmile installed on my virtual machine, and I just tried to test it out with the command: SMILExtract -C config/demo/demo1_energy.conf -I wav_samples/speech01.wav - O speech01.energy.csv, as shown in the book. However, I get this error: terminate called after throwing an instance of cIOException Aborted How do I resolve this?
