This seems to skip the update, how about the donate popup? I know, same process, but isn't mentioned.

Maybe is it better to reorganize it and create a folder like windows, linux and portable and place the modified files inside?

Theres no donate popup on linux. And yeah, your aproach seems way better. I did include the javafx fix cause a lot of people (including myself) having it on linux.

Maybe we can add the precompiled jar with the thetvdb fix for people who doesnt feel confortable editing the jar and keep the instructions for others who may prefere doing it themselves
