Feature Request: Adding Stamps to PDF

First of all, thank you so much for your effort on this project. I'm quite sure it will be helpful to a lot of people.

I'd like to add a feature request that most likely is nothing near yet, but would certainly be a great addition to the project. Adobe Acrobat, some other PDF software and even some online services support the addition of stamps to documents. This is especially useful for businesses that have to digitally mark (stamp) documents with the day of receival or processing. But there certainly are more use cases to this. Best would be an implementation that allows the user to modify the look and text of the stamp, maybe even supporting some basic variables (e.g. date, time, filename).

Somewhere down the road this could also be useful with an API or reading from a directory, for automatic processing.

I just noticed that the watermark feature might already be a step in that direction. On the other hand, there is much more to stamps than to a watermark. Especially when they should be customizable and use variables.
