PRS 650: Touchscreen / Disable All Swipes leaves some swipes activated

PRS-650 / Current 2.1.alpha

What steps will reproduce the problem?
0. Clean install
1. Enable PRS+/Touchscreen/Disable All Swipes
2. Open a book
3. Perform a swipe from right to left and hold your finger / the stylus there.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Nothing happens
Reality: If the finger is lifted after performing the gesture, nothing happens. 
Elsewhile after ~1-2s the pages start turning.
