Accounts on other instances aren't shown as such
It appears that in some cases, particularly in posts, the wrong handle is used insinuating that accounts that are not from the home instance are. For example, if you're on instance1.com and following @[email protected], when a post from that account shows up in your feed, they'll simply be listed as @person and not @[email protected]. If, however, you access @person's account from the search page, they will be listed accordingly. So, this issue is likely a matter of ensuring the right status property is being accessed in the right places (particularly in post.js)
This might have been a now fixed problem with the Pixelfed API, as external accounts now seem to be showing up as they should
