[Thread] The future of Nativescript Material Components

Since the library for iOS has been switched to maintenance mode and new features will not be released, it is interesting to know how the Nativescript Material Components will continue to develop? Will it also switch to maintenance mode?

@PackagedCat that s actually a very good question. I wont drop the plugin as the android part i think wont stop anytime soon. Now i still want to have an io/android solution. So:

  • let s wait a bit to see if there is a OSS move to take over iOS components (which i doubt)
  • let s keep an eye on other OSS libs which could replace google's one
