[Android] App freezes when the debugger is stopped

Environment Provide version numbers for the following components (information can be retrieved by running tns info in your project folder or by inspecting the package.json of the project):

  • CLI: 5.1.0
  • Cross-platform modules: 5.0.0
  • Android Runtime: 5.0.0
  • iOS Runtime: 5.0.0
  • VSCode: 0.8.4

To Reproduce

  1. Launch app on android
  2. Stop on a breakpoint
  3. Terminate the debugger from VSCode
  4. VSCode debugger is closed, but the app freezes

Expected behavior VSCode debugger should be closed and the app should be responding.
