[FEATURE] <title>Edit downloads.db, failed_downloads.db?
Is the feature request related to a problem. Please describe it.
Can we already do this? I’d like to re-download a particular artist … db logs prevent this, it seems. I’ve found the corresponding track numbers but removing them from the db and redownloading does nothing. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Describe the solution you would like.
I’d like to be able to edit the db logs in bulk. Knowing what information needs to remain for functionality and what track IDs I can discard.
Describe alternatives you've considered.
I’ve found the corresponding track numbers but removing them from the db and redownloading does nothing.
Did you try the rip -ndb url command ? It will do your thing
Louis2530,
No, because I don't understand it. It hasn't worked for me, I'm doing something wrong. I just found I've deleted all the artists in my folder under "B" ... Bon Iver :( I've got to figure this out.

You have to write rip -ndb url ... and not rip url -ndb ... or rip url ... -ndb to get it work, it redownloading the album or music or artist
I really appreciate the step by step. I'm getting the AssertionError. I'd occasionally get this when I was downloading albums previously. At the time I was working w/ both Tidal & Deezer, I could usually work around it with the other platform. I am down to just Tidal now.
It's another issue fix on dev branch I think (#781 ) try pip3 install git+https://github.com/nathom/streamrip.git@dev --force-reinstall
Otherwise re download things issue is already done by command -ndb
