Export Import Validation

Open rapdodge opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

What feature would you like to see? Export Import validation on ASN WHOIS

Example ASN WHOIS

remarks: AS199514 defines all upstream using AS-SET
mp-export: afi ipv6.unicast to AS199514:AS-UPSTREAMS announce AS-RAPDODGE
mp-import: afi ipv6.unicast from AS199514:AS-UPSTREAMS accept ANY

AS199514:AS-UPSTREAMS WHOIS

as-set: AS199514:AS-UPSTREAMS
remarks: AS199514 upstreams are listed in this AS-SET
remarks: Cloudie Networks LLC
members: AS924
remarks: Hurricane Electric LLC
members: AS6939

Direct example

mp-export: afi any.unicast to AS6939 announce AS-ROUTE48
mp-import: afi any.unicast from AS6939 accept ANY

Validate afi (ipv4 only, ipv6 only, or any) and ASN listed (directly or using as-set)

I think this feature should be added on Pathvector, for automatically double-checking which upstream that can announcing the asn and the prefix, when the downstream delete the upstream ASN on their import export, the session will be automatically disabled after pathvector g run

This will be part of the new audit command in pathvector v7
