Hold key to fine tune value

how about holding modifier keys on the keyboard (shift, ctrl, ...) to have finer or coarser control over rotary (and other) elementa? could be useful in some situations...

Ctrl gives finer control over rotary and slider. on numeric widgets you even have more control with Alt and Shift, like in vvvv IOBoxes

ah indeed, that one i missed. i was trying "shift" (which in vvvv has the same effect as "ctrl" on iobox) and did not notice any difference to just dragging. to be consistent with vvvv it should probably allow both keys.

with "alt" + "shift" i did not notice any difference though, but ctrl+alt+shift does show some kind of multiplying effect.

in gamma ioboxes show this behaviour:

no key: 0.0x0 ctrl: 0.00x shift: 0.00x alt+shift: 0.x00 ctrl+shift: 0.000x ctrl+alt+shift: x.000
