KYC: Screen returns to 'Review and Verify' even after clicking 'Confirm and Continue'
After I enter my details and proceed to review and verify, it just returns to the same page asking me to review and verify again. This is after i had issues with my firstname/lastname not matching what i registered for the lottery. Now it just returns to the screen and does nothing. Please look into this as KYC closes soon. Thank you
Replication steps:
- Enter KYC details
- Click 'Review and verify' button
- Click 'These are correct' button
- Enter password and click 'confirm and continue' button
- Page returns to No. 2
I have exactly similar experience, still coming back to this review and verify page after confirmation in extension 'Please re-enter your password noting your color code and security word'
I just successfully completed the registration after having the similar issue. Not sure if this will help you but after the popup you have to re-enter your password. If you then click first on the extension again the popup appears on another location, then registration was successfull for me.
I'm experiencing the same issue as the originating comment. I've tried re-opening browser, clearing history and cache. I've also tried logging into NEX via both; Private Key & Locally Stored Account. Nothing seems to be working.
If I click Review & Modify repeatedly, it just allows me to re-validate details followed by the screen disappearing and the Review & Modify screen remaining unchanged.
@wkosten1982 thank you so much you. That was helpful. But now I get an error "First/Last name does not match name submitted in lottery". Is there a workaround for this as well? This seems to be a common issue. I've tried using small caps and all caps but it doesn't work
@MystDexter I also had the same issue with the name mismatch. Via the discord channel I got support for this. It turned out my name was in the wrong order and the firstname was capped to two characters.
@wkosten1982 thanks also for the work-around, although mine worked only after clicking the NEX extension embedded in Chrome following the attempted verification. The window re-appeared to the right of the screen (after having been on left) and successfully completed the registration.
@wjwater sorry for such a silly question but how are you accessing the Discord channel? I'm struggling to find anything on the Neonexchange.org site...
@wjwater is there a way to check how your name was entered for the lottery? Else it'll be a case of painstakingly trying multiple combinations. I also didn't know there's a discord channel
