This is partially resolved by #560. Without downloading and compiling googletest the time for the tests alone is IMHO acceptable.
See the debian bug [#892491](https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=892491). I think it is describing the same issue.
This may have been fixed in between by modifications in systemd restart behavior. Is anybody still seeing this?
