Open Brooooooklyn opened this issue 5 years ago • 8 comments

Hey, I'm intending to make napi-rs to become a powerful and easy to use framework. So could you please add me to this organization and I will migrate the napi-rs into this repo. And I also want transfer node-rs into your organization.

Yes, I think it makes a lot of sense to do that. Thanks for your effort and commitment, your project looks awesome 💚

@Brooooooklyn I've sent you an invitation to the org. May we schedule a Zoom call to discuss the project and further actions with migration/merging?

Also, if you decide to proceed with transferring the repos before we could have a chat, please consider adding a Code of Conduct as soon as possible (AFAICT, there isn't one in your project currently; I'd suggest Contributor Covenant).

Oh thanks!

May we schedule a Zoom call to discuss the project and further actions with migration/merging

Of course, my timezone is UTC+8, and I'm free to have discuss during 20:00 - 24:00 in every workday.

Please consider adding a Code of Conduct as soon as possible

I'm going to add code_of_conduct.md

Action plan:

  • [x] Transfer napi-rs and node-rs repos to the org
  • [x] Add @Brooooooklyn to owners of napi-* crates on crates.io
  • [ ] Archive old napi and napi-sys repos and keep them for historical purposes (decided against renaming the old napi repo due to links from conference slides, twitter etc)
  • [x] Decouple sys module of new napi-rs into a crate
  • [x] Publish the new project as a major version of napi, napi-sys and napi-derive crates
