[BUG] Joining groups not persisted but can join again

Description

Joining groups not persisted but can join again

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Axolotl
  2. Receive a group invitation
  3. Accept by clicking 'Join' at bottom of group chat
  4. Send and receive should be okay
  5. Restart Axolotl
  6. The group chat shows 'Join' button again instead of keypad to write a message
  7. Accept by clicking 'Join' again
  8. Go out of group chat view and back in, keypad is there again

Expected behavior:

I only need to join a group (accept invitation) once

Actual behavior:

I need to join group again after restart of Axolotl

Versions

Axolotl Beta 1.0.9

Device

Phone: Volla Phone / OS: Ubuntu Touch / Channel: Release Candidate (2021-W52)

I closed Axolotl, deleted below log from phone ("Don't try this at home!", my Axolotl won't startup without data connection now), then restarted Axolotl - joined the group again -sent message to hopefully get a useful new log:

Extra info

Status indicator, normally changing from circle of dots > v > vv > dark vv, now stays a circle, I believe until a message is sent. After a while changes into those dots again (status reverted), this also happens to the previous joins.

This is a duplicate of https://github.com/nanu-c/axolotl/issues/711 However it looks like you have a slightly different behaviour so please comment there.

Hi Fla, because of this sight (but relevant) difference in behavior, I asked to open a new issue. This issue affects more users and #711 seems to only affect me, as of yet. If only one of them should be open, its this one.

I can confirm exact the same behavior with Version: 1.4.0 on Oneplus One Ubuntu Touch OTA-23.
