3.1.5 Reported hashrate massively higher than actual hashrate
Tested on Linux 5.10 with RX5700 & RX 6800 with ethereum mining. After being really happy about the massive performance increase, I found after a while that even though reported hashrate increased easily 2x, the actual hashrate calculated in nanopool is still the same.
Additionally this version makes it impossible to use the computer while it is mining, unlike the previous 3.1.4 version, as the mouse lags and gpu accelerated programs struggle to coexist with the miner. It's probably for the best, but I will personally downgrade in the meantime.
What hashrates are reported for RX 5700 and RX 6800 on your system?
(on 5700XT)
With 3.1.4
Ethereum - Total speed: 47.673 MH/s, Total shares: 0 Rejected: 0, Time: 00:27
GPU0 t=46°C fan 33% power 113.00W. Total power: 113.00W
With 3.1.5 or 3.2
GPU0 t=51°C fan 33% power 114.00W. Total power: 114.00W

Ethereum - Some devices are still tuning so hashrate can be lower than expected
Ethereum - Total speed: 82.623 MH/s, Total shares: 0 Rejected: 0, Time: 00:45
Ethereum last 10 min - Total: 82.557 MH/s.
Which over the course of hours will increase to almost 100MH/s, randomly go down to 80 and then back up, but never the actual hashrate, which is still around 50.
I experience the same issue. RX 6800 XT here. 105MH/S which is about double of what I have in reality.
I have the same issue with 5700 XT. My reported speed is ~100, my computed speed is ~50. This was my first time mining so it was pretty confusing

Same issue on Windows 10 with a 6800. Man I thought I won the silicon lottery 😢.
Same on HIveOS, added a card bumped up to 300mhs but actual hash went down 50mhs, any resolution to this?
idk
