Missing error notification on Windows node

Summary

If a windows node crashes it does not create a dump file. The information found in event logger is minimal

Steps to reproduce the behavior

This may be recreated by deliberate causing an exception in the code. When the node crashes it just exits

Expected behavior

No crash, or at least an error message

Actual behavior

Node shuts down
