I tryed to use the Materia Light, but it happens the same, in reverse, dark text on dark background.

Hmm, I'm stuck on getting to that screen... I've tested on Ubuntu Studio 19.04 (virtual machine).

@rauldipeas How did you open that screen? I have no idea how to reproduce it 😥

This screen is showed when you select auto partitioning for dual boot.
