Change skins in demo.
Hello, first of all thanks a lot for your work I really appreciate it.
its working all good in matches but i was wonder is there any way to make it work on demo/gotv (my gameplays) if there is then please help me to make it work.
Thanks again.
You need to change to hook all players instead of one, and apply skins on players based on xuid, since you are no longer the local player.
I considered implementing this, but haven't got around yet
I have no idea what you're talking about since i dont know how this work i only know how to build it to get the .dll file
Oh man if you cant do it than its pretty much impossible for me to do such since i got no knowledge about this stuff :/
i was hoping it would be as simple as changing some lines in the visual studio ... :/
I only downloaded this skin changer for demo playbacks but looks like there;s no way to add cool skins in demo :/
If you're using skins on the account you want to record videos on you could edit your items_game.txt, granted you would spend more time doing this than you would spend making the video but thats one way you could do it without using nSkinz
in order to do that i must have skins so its a no go :/
man there has to be a simpler way to make this awesome skin changer work in demos :/
He explained how to do it... "You need to change to hook all players instead of one, and apply skins on players based on xuid, since you are no longer the local player."
Thats the thing idk how to hook all players and whats xuid so im still searching around and not getting anything on this :/
We actually made a fork a while ago, that is outdated (aka not working anymore) now, that added an XUID feature: https://github.com/advancedfx/nSkinz/tree/advancedfx
I would have made a pull request, but I think the quality of the code I added doesn't live up to your standards.
If the owner of this repository wants, I can try to reapply it and maybe improve the quality of my own code in there, but not sure if it will be good enough.
