Feature Request: Compare against file

This is working great as a replacement for HashTab for my Surface Pro X, but one feature I find to be missing is the ability to open up a file picker and compare the hash of a second file to the first one. Any chance this could be added?

unfortunately this is not trivial since currently the code doesn't support adding new files to hash on the fly, but i like the idea otherwise. as of next release you will be able to open properties on one, double-click the hash to copy, then open the other one and it will automatically paste in the hash for comparison

Would love to see this too. Especially if the user would be able to drag'n'drop the file into the hash-window.
