Google Cast not working at all

LG V10 with Android 7.0

Describe the Bug:

Whenever I hit the "cast" button, app shows as connected, but in fact music still plays in the loudspeaker and TimberX is not connected at all

To Reproduce:

1. Open app
2. Start playing song
3. Start casting

Expected Behavior:

Audio should be played through Google Cast devices. It does not work on 2 Google Home minis and 1 Chromecast. All other music apps work.

I've just downgraded and no. It does not work on version 1.1

Unfortunately no, it does not.

But, I discovered that if I start casting, if I adjust the volume from the casting menu

Then my Google Home reacts to volume changes showing the dots and making the sound of volume adjusting.

Worst of all, casting to Chromecast completely breaks the now playing

It shows that nothing is playing, while I can still hear musing from phone's loudspeaker. Selecting another song will make now playing show that song (still not casted, though) while the old song still plays

I have found the issue (it's related to castSession and its state across the application). I'm gonna work on it today. Maybe I will be able to push a pull request soon.

I have to update this issue: I've somehow made Chromecast working but with absolutely no control on playback.

Casting on Google Home is broken.
