Would be nice to drop a whole metric from the cli

While I definitely understand the desire for this (not even sure this exists in promtool), but I worry about opening this CLI up to write operations. It's mostly intended for quickly parsing query results in your shell vs any attempt at a fully fledged prometheus management tool.
