Time for a release, maybe?

Hello,

The last release was in 2016, since then a lot has changed :) Can we please have a new release, thanks!

Came here to say the same @nahi if you're still around. The issue I have with the code is already solved and merged in here but applying that is fiddlier than getting hold of a newer gemfile would be.

Hey @nahi , I'm also interested in a new release. I maintain the httpclient Package on Arch Linux. Please let me know if we can somehow help with a new release.

You might want to just start using: https://github.com/Shopify/httpclient. The Shopify folks forked and updated the certificate due to https://shopify.engineering/that-old-certificate-expired-and-started-an-outage-this-is-what-happened-next

Thanks @jmthomas for the pointer. Do you know if the spotify fork is available on https://rubygems.org/ as well? I couldn't find it.

I don't think there is one—I think they'd need to change the name of the gem in the gemspec file in order to upload it to RubyGems.org.
