flashing on MSI x470 Gaming Plus

I recently attempted to use this software to make the LEDs on my motherboard roughly match my sapphire GPU (Since I cannot set the LED color on it in linux) the color of those LED's is a light blue cyan color, so I assumed the command I should use would be sudo ./msi-rgb 80808080 80808080 ffffffff to keep the color solid, but this resulted in my motherboard LEDs flashing cyan, then solid blue, back and forth. I was able to get something similar to what I wanted with sudo ./msi-rgb 88888888 88888888 ffffffff It seems that on this board it is using 8 color positions and only looking at one nibble per color each? Or is there something I am misunderstanding about the software?
