As title. Can you add that feature?

Hello @chumido98! Thanks for the suggestion, I will take a look at this feature. Also, I want to talk about why the current version of the plugin does not do the magic. The main problem I come up with is the following question:

How to Trigger? In editing mode, a click action is usually used to position the cursor and insert new texts, and if I keep using clicking as the way to trigger focus, it will have conflicts.

Please let me know if you have any good ideas about how to trigger the focus in editing mode. I will do my best to realize it!

Suggestion on how to implement this: Add new menu items to the editor gutter. You can find an example of implementation in another plugin obsidian-lapel

It is a great method! I will dig into it and try to use a similar solution. Thanks a lot for the information!

I just want to chime in and say it'd be great if this also worked when editing a document. I never leave the "Live Preview" mode and I think what this plugin does would be a very useful feature there.

Would the text cursor position work instead of clicks?

Hello everyone, thanks a lot for giving the plugin and the feature so much attention! I am still working hard on my master thesis now, and may need a few months to complete it. I will try my best to update the plugin and add the feature after finishing it, thanks again for all sponsors and the plugin users!

Hello! This looks like an excellent plugin otherwise, but I never even use the reading mode, so I would really love it if it worked while editing :-)

Just automatically focus according to the cursor location would be perfect for me. And then a command to globally turn highlighting on/off, which you could bind to a hotkey.

Thanks and have a great day!
