Can not get the plugin to load in gedit3

Open andrewfenn opened this issue 12 years ago • 10 comments

I've tried placing the files in:

~/.gnome2/gedit/plugins ~/.local/share/gedit/plugins

and some other places however I've had no success, any suggestions on how I can get this showing up in the plugin directory?

I'm on Ubuntu 12.04.

Ok, so I dug into this and realised that it requires updating to gedit 3.0. Do you plan on doing this? It'd be a shame to lose this plugin.

I'll be doing this asap

Hi, I can't get it to work on Gedit 3.4.1 too. I appreciate the work you did on the plugin. It would be even more awesome if it was updated :)

This plugin doesn't seem to be working on Gedit3, nor did I manage to load any of the forks :( (let me know if a fork works). However, this one worked for me: https://github.com/fenrrir/geditpycompletion/
