Can't save static WLAN settings

Using your great tools with CM9 on a Motorola Milestone, not sure if it is related to this library: I needed to configure in the CM 9 WiFi menu a static IP (for a wirelesss repeater set-up) and found, that those can not be saved and set (button remains grey, no matter which parameters are set). Root is given to both Apps and ADB.
