Navigating cells using keyboard

We select cell A1 and use shift+right arrow key to select right hand side cells till D1. Please refer screenshot. screen1 Now use shift+left arrow to deselect the D1 cell and rest of cells from A1 to C1 will be selected but it is not happening.

For expected result please refer below screenshot. screen1-expected

But if you select cells from B1 to D1 and try to deselect D1 then it is happening. Please refer screenshot for the same. screen2 screen2-happening
