TCP Branch issues

Opening an issue to just track some of the issues I've noticed with the TCP branch. I haven't been actively watching the setup yet, so this is going to be somewhat broken in terms of readability, and usefulness until I can spend more time tracking and recreating the issues. I promise to actually put more work into this aspect as I go, I just want a quick place to put some notes.
