Error while interpolating:Canceled: FFmpeg Error: [image2 @ 00000192755dfb00] Could not open file

I'm not that technologically advanced so this may be a little bit bland.

So, I was trying to convert a video from 30FPS to 240FPS (720p 16:9, 15s clip) and I got this error message

"[38792] [2-6-2022 18:13:25]: Message: Canceled: FFmpeg Error: [image2 @ 00000192755dfb00] Could not open file : C:\Users\XXXX XXXX\Videos\Captures\3pearlclutch-temp\frames-chunk-3000-3300.ini-symlinks/00000264.png"

I have tried to interpolate the clip twice but I have gotten the same error both times, I will provide logs to the best of my ability.

I have interpolated clips from 30fps to 240fps before and had no problem, this is the first clip that I tried importing for a different computer and interpolating, my last interpolation from 30 to 240 was with a 900p clip(16:9, 3s clip).

alright, can you see the "debug tools" button at the top right of the application? it has a logo of a console almost. click on that, and switch to the "Config Editor" tab. edit the "allowSymlinkEncoding" option from "True" to "False" i would upload some screenshots but github doesnt want to for some reason

doing all of the above and then restarting the application seems to fix it for most people. get back to me if it works.

It worked but the problem is, it's very choppy, and some parts of the video are cut out(only a couple frames are cut out, frames with very fast motion didn't appear making it look as though the camera teleported)

I had the same problem and I couldn't fix it until I disabled my antivirus so you can disable your antivirus or create an exception to flowframes cuz the antivirus stops it.

I went in Config Editor and tried switching "allowSymlinkEncoding" but it is nowhere to be found. All of the options that start with 'allow...' are those in the image below (sorry it is kinda blurry):

Do i have to downgrade/upgrade my program or is it just located somewhere else? Thanks.

It's possible to add entries in the config editor

Thanks for the advice . I disabled the windows security and it resolved the issue . (Went into Virus & Threat protection settings and turned off real time protection - then turned it back on after encoding the video:)

Issue resolved by turning of real time protection @Jabawok
