Symlink causing problems. (Patreon Version 1.36.0)

I'm interpolating a video and it keeps failing because of symlink encoding. I can always turn it off but it being on by default makes me think it's better to leave it on.

I'm using a Radeon RX 580 Series graphics card. FFMPEG latest version is installed and i'm running this on a windows 10.

Can someone provide me a fix for this or a reason to even have it on?
