because sometimes you can miss click on a card (plus instead of minus and vice versa), and animation will allow you to see that

Maybe it's only me, but I think it would be nice to take care of users battery. If device hasn't moved (proximity sensor?) or wasn't touched. What do you think?

So I tap five times in a row I see "+5" in addition to the current score. That way I know I've added the proper number of points without checking...

According to analytics most popular variant is 2 counters. So, I propose to create 2 counters after app has been installed.

Accumulate a number from taps and display it separately (above or below counter), and only after some delay (1 sec?), apply it's value to the total points. Probably not very...
