i was playing around with multimarkdown. my web hosting company uses Debian 10, so I had to build the binary in a Docker container. mmd seems to build the image correctly, if the files present locally according to the documentation. in my case, i'm storing all the md files at GitLab, which path should I add then?

My first post was maybe not so well defined, se let me explain my use case. I'm using your markdown plugin for Wordpress. This plugin creates the content from a URL, like one which points to my GitLab repo's raw source. In order to use file transclusion with this plugin, MMD would be the tool. I'm storing all my files in a remote GitLab server, and file transclusion is not working at the moment. I was just wondering if I could tell MMD, to use a remote file to process. or what would be correct syntax for that.
