Prices of myst token when buying from the android app

So, i noticed when using the android app i can buy myst token using play store in app purchases. When using my us phone, i can buy $7.5 in myst token for $9.99, which is fine considering the play store fees for processing the payment. However when i use my German phone, it asks for 12.99€ for the same $7.5 in myst token. Is this an error? If it is intended, why are European customers Being overcharged that much?

That's a bit odd, considering it's a 30% markup. Besides, token should be vat exempt(at least here in Germany they would be). But thanks for the info
