Wording about county councillors

As an ex councillor there are several occasions where I may have to make decisions on behalf of those not in my ward. The comment "It’s a waste of time writing to county councillors other than your own; your message will be ignored." Is not in my view helpful nor is it accurate as it may not be ignored. Hopefully you can consider amending this statement.

If no-one has any objections I don't mind having a go at rewording.
