User suggestion: put representatives in context
First off I want to say wow- you guys have done a tremendous job and I never knew how many elected representatives I had (and who they all were) until now. Everyone should know about and use this site, if only to understand who does what, and what all those votes we submit at the polling booth each year mean.
I wanted to suggest perhaps adding one or two numbers to the list of elected representatives page, to give the lists more context. For example, in my postcode of SW11 5JN, (I now understand, having done some Googling) that whilst the list tells me that I have three local councillors for my Queenstown Ward, this is as part of a total of 20 wards within the Borough of Wandsworth. It might be useful to have a small little grid of coloured boxes representing all 60 council seats for Wandsworth, with 41 blue squares for Conservative and 19 reds for Labour, with my three councillor-boxes highlighted with a border, for example, to see the full picture. I think interested but unknowledgable voters like me would find it useful to see how my three councillors sit within the context of the total assembly.
Similarly, you could have context numbers and/or a colour-coded box-grid for the London Assembly (25 members total, 12 of whom represent me); the House of Commons (650 total members, of which one represents me); and the European Parliament (751 MEPs, of whom 73 represent the UK, and 8 represent me in London).
