Write To All AMs does not include local AM
Similar (or identical) to #104 (in which it was stated that 'write to all MSPs' does not include constituency MSPs, possibly for good reason):
I tried to press 'contact all your AMs' on your site, but it then only came up with the names of the regional AMs, rather than including Julie Morgan, who is our local AM. I presume this is some sort of blip with your site? The names of all the AMs come up, it’s just when you press ‘contact all your AMs’ it only puts the names of the regional ones at the start of the draft letter.
I was just looking at your site now, and I notice that if the option to "Write to all your AMs" is selected, the salutation only includes the 4 regional AMs, and not the constituency AM. On inspection, I cannot find e-mails in the inbox from your service that have a salutation to multiple members - so I suspect that the constituency AM e-mail address is missing, as well as the name from the salutation, when "Write to all your AMs" is selected.
If you have a chance to look into it I would be grateful - we don't want constituents assuming they have contacted our office and not receiving a reply.
I just wanted to let you know when hitting the write to all my AMs button in the WriteToThem page, it only addressed the email to my regional AMs and didn't include my constituency AM.
I've changed the link so that it at least says "contact all your regional MSs".
If someone wants to contact all their members of the Senedd, it is necessary to your site twice, first sending the message to the constituency MS, then using the link to write to all your regional MSs. Having to do this twice makes it more difficult and therefore less likely for the public to engage with their political representatives. I only ever wish to contact all my Senedd members at once and have never wanted to contact just the regional MSs in a group.
Trying to write to all my Local AMS, the Choice is either the Single AM who Won Most Votes or all of them. However If I choose the All option it does Not include the one with Most votes, this is obviously an issue that needs sorting as If I write to all I and others will expect it to go to all
