Flag that we'll send questonnaires and how many there will be
User feedback: "I think it might be a good idea to let people know that you send these emails, or at least make it more obvious to people when they send a message that this will happen. If there is a notification on the initial message page I missed it. If I had known you would send them they would not have seemed so much like harassment, also if I had know there were only to be two it would have helped. There was no way to know I would not simply receive these emails until you obtained a response. Make your intentions plain and it will avoid further misunderstandings."
Wouldn't hurt to add this to our considerations around questionnaire wording.
Please stop sending me emails. I am being harassed by you.
@struan is looking at the questionnaires at the moment I believe. I know people don't read text but.. maybe worth an addition to both.
Or, radical thought - have we looked into how many responses we obtain via the 2nd questionnaire? I suppose it's just possible the number is small enough to leave it at just one email.
Otherwise, some possible text (feel free to add improvements):
1st email:
If this email remains unclicked, we'll send a reminder in 24 hours. Don't worry though - that's the last you'll hear from us.
2nd email:
This is the second and final reminder. Don't worry, we haven't added you to a mailing list (we don't have one). You won't hear from us again.
(I'm aware that they will hear from us again if they have sent multiple messages but I can't think of a way of adding 'until you use WTT again' without it sounding duplicitous).
