You’re using an old version of the dotfiles. Ags has been replaced in 2.9.8 with gtk apps. Did you run the command ml4w-hyprland-setup after updating the package?

Please install the latest version as described here. https://github.com/mylinuxforwork/dotfiles/wiki/Installation#arch-linux-based

What happens when you click on the ML4W logo on the upper right side? Maybe it’s just a wrong alias. I will check.

Unfortunately nothing, I also look for the sh file and there is ags in there too. But for me the ML4W Hyperland Settings App won't start either, or the ML4W Weolcome App, or the ML4W Setting App. The link you sent me gets me to the same installation I started with 3-4 hours ago.

Installed 2.9.8.5 on Arch minimal without any issues. All apps starts as expected.

try running the AUR based installation:

yay -S ml4w-hyprland
ml4w-hyprland-setup

this solved it for me.

try running the AUR based installation:

yay -S ml4w-hyprland
ml4w-hyprland-setup

Did this and the issue is not gone. updated system with pacman and yay. Running ml4w-sidebar in terminal displays this: error: there is no "astal" instance runnning

Calendar also doesn't open for me. Notifications work fine tho.

You have to rebuild the packages. It seams that you’re still on an outdated version.

I was having this issue as well. To fix it I opened the settings app with the terminal and it was throwing an error about a gtk theme I had installed. I deleted the folder and suddenly the welcome screen, sidebar, and settings app opened. Don't know if it will work for you, but it might be worth a shot.

Great feedback. Thanks for testing.

What's the command for rebuilding packages?

It’s possible that your aliases are not up to date. Can you run

flatpak run com.ml4w.sidebar

flatpak run com.ml4w.sidebar

~The output I'm getting:~

> flatpak run com.ml4w.sidebar
error: app/com.ml4w.sidebar/x86_64/master not installed

EDIT: The issue suddenly went away after I ran ml4w-hyprland-setup after a couple of days. There is another issue though after update my pywal doesn't update waybar nor terminal colors

Please make sure that the latest version is installed. Then run ml4w-hyprland-setup again.
