[BUG] No clock displaying

Open KurOz opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

Describe the bug

On a fresh install of Arch, I used the script to set ML4W up. It is overall working great and I found my way around the small issues I encountered so far except one : no clock is displaying at the top right of the screen. I tried fiddling with the .dotfiles but could not get it to show. The timer on the lock screen displays correctly and with the right locale.

Steps to reproduce

Install arch in English with FR locale (kb and time)

Expected behavior

Clock to show in the top right corner of the screen

Can you share a screenshot?

There you go !

To note, while trying to take the screenshot, I realised the built-in tool for screenshot is apparently not working and I had to go through another solution.

Also other parts of my installation seem to not work : application launcher, access keybindings.

It could ne that the timeformat isn’t working. Can you open the Dotfiles Settings App and play a bit with the time formats?

I played with the time formats and nothing changed. That being said, I am still leaning towards a more global display issue : when clicking twice on the settings button, the waybar got duplicated. I also notice an error message regarding the content of the default.conf file in /home/[USER]/dotfiles/.config/hypr/conf/windows/ folder ; I could not replicate it so far. It had to do with line 10 and the "color" parameter.

I attached a screenshot of the duplicated top bar

This will be fixed with 2.9.8.2.
