[FEATURE] Personal installation profiles: Let user choose what terminal to install
Would love to see this in the install script. I'm a ghostty user myself, but the terminal is such a personal choice that being able to choose between the big ones (alacritty, kitty, ghostty etc), would be a huge bonus.
its just my two cents, but I think ghostty is better placed at gnome or kde. Some window decorated features are useless on a tiling wm.
I respect your opinion, but I just can't see what it has to do with being able to choose to use it with hyprland. Afaik ghostty is 100% gtk4 compliant and (imo), looks much better than alacritty and kitty. It's just as feature rich, just as fast as those two as well. Hyprland is all about the bling, function is #2, so I can't see a good reason to not be able to choose it at install.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. I will start very soon the development of a new package installation script. This will enable full flexibility to define own personal installation profiles. Keep you posted.

Got some "let's give ghostty another try" - feeling.
Looks like they made some progress. The font rendering looks better than on kitty. But the startup could be snappier. Kitty is definitely faster.
Btw. Ghostty is only on Arch in their repos. Fedora needs a copr repo.

Thank you! Is it possible to get an option for starship as well?
