Is the backup of custom.conf in /hypr/conf/custom.conf overwritten after update?

Hi.

Is the backup of custom.conf in /hypr/conf/custom.conf overwritten after update? i had lost of keybinding and custom setups, following custom.conf workflow, but the file has benn overwitten by default script. If is gone now, do i have to rewrite it? or there is a way to restore? all this after install. Not during the install process.
