Ability to use node battery level in widgets/graphs

Open RURon opened this issue 8 years ago • 6 comments

Maybe I have overseen it, but I cannot seem to find a way to visualize a node's battery level within a dashboard. In my case I have for example a node that sends power data in watts and it is powered by battery so it would be nice to include the battery level in that graph.

@RURon For now we do not have any widget to display battery level. However we have heatmap chart, using that we can display status as color.

I will take this request as new feature request and implement when I get time. Thank you!

Also add button delete charts. Battery usage.

I do think that if you do not use a battery-powered, then at this point you can display information on the sensors. no_bat

@devicter We can include battery history purge option.

I feel, it may not required Sensor details on node page?

Sorry JK that this is old, but why isn't the battery level for a node simply another sensor? I can see practicality in measuring more than one voltage, for example there are modules (I'm looking at a few now( that measure current & voltage of whatever you like-not necessarily the node's VCC.

@BogusException sorry for the late response. That's a good idea. You can send battery voltage as another sensor :)
