User follow system
A system allowing users to "follow" other users. This system is similar to the Twitter concept of followers and the current buddy system.
Features
- Activity Feed can be filtered to show only activity from followed users
- Alternative "Ignore" feature for other users, hiding posts/topics (posts collapsed, toggle switch to temporarily show them).
So renaming the buddy system? And of course extending it to a 2.0 level.
Otherwise the buddy system will be pointless if this gets implemented.

@mybb/developers I would like to suggest pushing this to Alpha 2, any objections?

In 1.x the ignore feature is quite useless - it doesn't even hide threads. I don't think we should make the same mistake in 2.0. Content should be hidden wherever possible (search results, memberlist, etc.).
Nothing against moving to Alpha 2.
I've also got no problem moving it to Alpha 2. I'm open to not including ignores too.
I didn't mean not including them if you referred to my comment, I meant extending them to make them actually work as supposed to and hide as much content as possible.
