I saw that there was a Closed Issue on this matter, something like adding a "youtube-dl" arg? However, I can't have it running, will there be a way to do so? Thanks.

You can specify youtube_dl_args in the feed configuration. See example here: https://github.com/mxpv/podsync#configuration-example
