jform_calendar now does not allow setting live value to 'now'

After commit eab268f8b83f1e0c79d8d0970969989e011b2506 it is not possible to enter text 'now' into live value of jform_calendar field. It breaks my site (the condition "dates starting now" is ignored and searches...
