Picarto's “Downscale images to fit size limit” doesn’t seem to work

Trying to post a big image (5452 x 4124) to Picarto results in an Unknown Error.

I do not have a premium account, so the maximum resolution is limited. A quick search revealed that the biggest side of the image must be 3840px or less.

Quick looked into code, there is only maxSize restriction (15mb)

However, i don't use Picarto right now so i can't be sure.
