stream.new camera recording sometimes gets the wrong aspect ratio?

Firefox 78 on Windows using a StarTech USB3HDCAP capture device. Works fine with the OBS virtual camera (with the same capture device) routed into Firefox.

We're not forcing any constraints with the camera input, so I suspect this is more of a browser issue
