Option for Copy-dragging notes (at least harmonically)

Your idea

Most applications use copy-drag to duplicate objects. This is certainly true in graphical and vector editors.

Copy-drag is invoked on Windows and MacOS respectively by Alt/Option drag.

See the attached video to see note copy-drag in Overture.

Problem to be solved

Presently in MuseScore—while mouse editing—to simply add a note to a chord the user must:

     • enter Note Entry mode      • select the note value of the existing chord      • click-enter the new note      • exit Note Entry.

With copy-drag the user can simply drag the note to the desired position where it is deposited on mouseUp.

Unfortunately this does not work of graces notes, as described in this .org post. Copy-drag would be an ideal solution.
