[MU4 Issue] VST Spitfire LABS Micah's choirs keeps playing on and on

Open Valdessir opened this issue 2 years ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug When using the VST Spitfire LABS "Micah's choirs," notes that are clicked via note input or on playback will continue to play on repeat until it fades away. It will even play what you played last on top of repeatedly playing the note you clicked or inputted.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open a new score with any instrument.
  2. Assign it with a VST specifically Spitfire LABS "Micah's choirs"
  3. Put a few notes/select a few notes/click play to play the measure (you may do either or all of the actions in step 3)
  4. Hear that notes either from note input, or selecting the notes, or the notes played in playback will continue playing until it fades away.

Expected behavior The sound should only play the notes in note input or playback once per input/play/highlight.

Platform information

  • OS: Windows 11 MU4.0

Additional context I checked to see if it's merely a feature of the VST. It sometimes does not repeat the sound when pressing the keyboard in the VST window, and upon researching the VST via Demo videos on Youtube, it doesn't seem to have a repeat-until-fade characteristic; it only happens in Musescore 4.0
