Wrong color scheme and weird symbols

Hi there, I love this app, it is extremely useful for me. However I am experiencing some (minor) nuisances regarding the look of the terminal.

I am able to change the background color, but I would expect the color of the fonts and stuff like that to be the same as in a standard terminal. The same goes for some powerline-related stuff. You can see a comparison of the same server accessed via ssh in a standard terminal and easyssh one.

Actually I don't know if this is the right place to ask about this, if it is not please let me know where can I ask about this.

I am running easyssh as a flatpak, in its latest version. About my system:
